"Strange world", 2010, digital C-print metallic, 24"x36". Edition of 8
At 24"x36" this is a large example of the art work which I later explore with micro imaging to find patterns which form in the process of applying and manipulating paints over a transluscent paper surface, in this case a dark indiscernible area 1"x3" at the bottom left of the piece yielded the image at left which is then enlarged by 1800% to a Mertallic C Print measuring 18"x24". For exhibit purposes the piece above is to be displayed flat on a light table next to the enlarged image.

The color and composition of this piece is inspired by an imagined deep sea scape. Mounted on a light panel, this translucent piece comes alive when illuminated from behind giving it increased dimensionality. Full intricate details are only revealed in the resulting Metallic C Print enlargement at left which is 24"x36".
